Medals For Students With Fantastic Academic Score
Awards are categorized in different sections such as sports, beauty contests, academics and much more. People, who did very well in their own field, most likely get acknowledgement for their skills and remarkable performance. Probably the most awarded recognition is the Academic Excellence Award where people who excelled in their studies are given schools medals at the end of the school year.
It could be tough to be competing for the first rank given that the pressure in school comes in different levels. However, this encourages students to try harder in their studies and also create their own strategies in getting school awards. School medals are available in bronze, silver and gold shades signifying third, second and first places with regards to superiority. Each and every level in grade school, secondary and tertiary, gives all these medals to deserving students to continually encourage them to better their academic performance in every school year.
Sometimes, trophies will also be given to some worthy students to recognize their victory in inter and intra school contests. Prizes will always be important to the recipients because they are concrete evidences of effort and brilliance. Mentally, they give more inspiration to their people to boost their performance all the time. Both trophies and medals are crafted using unique elements. They may be made of solid wood, metal or plastic material. Created using intricate designs and unique add-ons, these awards are created for perfection by the manufacturers and award dealers.
Medals for schools are custom-made kinds so the ribbon, the logo and designs are completely made for each and every school or universities. Exactly the same thing goes for trophies. They could be custom-made to characterize a specific merit or be tokens. Some instances of specially-designed trophies could be microphone trophies, budget trophies, face of the year trophies, etc. Some awards are simply invented so presenting special trophies is pleasurable as well as very particular.
On the other hand, medals for schools may be made as square academic caps, graduation gowns, diplomas and also other specialty designs to make the award exclusive and extraordinary. Traditionally, medals come only in circular shape; however, as creativity grows, unique designs have gradually become aspect of the awarding system, even in the academics division.
What's the difference between Dynamic, Condenser, and Ribbon microphones?
What is it about the microphones that make them so different? Is it the construction? How they are wired? What is it. I need to buy a studio quality mic sometime so it would be helpful to understand everything I can about these mics.
I already know that I would need a piece of fabric in front of a condenser mic if I were to sing into it.
You probably want a condenser microphone for studio recording. As a general mic, I like the Shure KSM 44 (or 32, as they're very similar). It's clear, affordable, and durable.
The basic differences in practice:
- Dynamic mics are tough but not as sensitive. They don't require phantom power (i.e., power from the preamp). The venerable stage mic from Shure, the SM58, is a dynamic microphone.
- Condenser mics are more sensitive, are less tough, and require phantom power.
- Ribbon mics are not as commonly used and are fragile. I wouldn't recommend one as your main or first mic.
Shure publishes excellent stuff about all things audio-related. Here's their "Microphone Techniques for Recording" booklet—read it:

From the source link below:
Dynamic:
Principle: sound moves the cone and the attached coil of wire moves in the field of a magnet. The generator effect produces a voltage which "images" the sound pressure variation - characterized as a pressure microphone.
Condenser:
Principle: sound pressure changes the spacing between a thin metallic membrane and the stationary back plate. The plates are charged to a total charge.
Ribbon:
Principle: the air movement associated with the sound moves the metallic ribbon in the magnetic field, generating an imaging voltage between the ends of the ribbon which is proportional to the velocity of the ribbon - characterized as a "velocity" microphone.
