Dallas Wedding Videographer Tips On Sound In Your Wedding Video
Hiring a Dallas wedding videographer (and not just a wedding photographer) means that you will get a wedding memento that captures more of the actual feel of your special day. Why? The best wedding photos will not be able to preserve the emotion of the speech of the best man or the swell of music as the bride and groom have their first dance as a married couple. While it is important that your videographer takes balanced shots and well-composed footage, sound should also be a priority. Here are some things you need to think about and discuss with your videographer when it comes to sound in your wedding video:
Sound Clips
These days, most videographers use wireless clip-on microphones, and supplement these with a few wireless hand-held microphones, and possibly a small boom mike for capturing ambient sound. The wireless mic may be worn by the groom and placed on his lapel. For venues with bad acoustics or ones with a lot of ambient noise, hand-held wireless mics may be placed on the podium as well. If the ceremony is an outdoors wedding, most of the people expected to speak will need mics of their own, including readers, musicians, the choir, and the groom.
The in-camera microphone may also be used to record ambient sound and conversations, although a boom mike may be much better suited to the task. Guest interviews may be recorded with a wireless handheld or a clip-on mic instead of the in-cam mike for better audio clarity.
The Soundtrack
Music can set the mood for your wedding video, so the choice of songs or soundtrack may also spell the difference between disaster or success for the final cut. You can pick out different pieces of music for each part of the wedding and each portion of the video, including wedding preparations, the walk down the aisle, and so on. Every section of the video should have music to give it texture, or to take the place of conversation and background noise during lulls in the ceremony.
Should the raw video be edited to music, or the music be edited with the footage in mind? What mikes do you think you will need for the moments you want to focus on, and what songs do you want for each portion of the video? These are just a few technical questions you have to answer so that your Dallas wedding videographer can give you great-looking and great-sounding wedding video.

Accompanied by pirates, marching bands, and choirs, Occupy Wall Street will

description of activities, (c) song lyrics, (d) a space for marchers to write
their own letter.
