What is the BEST way to wire my Ampeg SVT 4 Pro Bass head to my Cabinet Speakers.?
I have an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro Bass head that has 1600 watts.
My set up is currently an Ampeg PR 4X10hlf and also an Ampeg 1x15.
The 4x10 has 4 ohms and 650 watts rms and the 1x15 i think has 250 watts and is 8 ohms.
CURRENTLY i have it hooked up in stereo with a neutrik cable with head to the 410 and another to neutrik from head to 1x15.
someone help me out and tell me the best sound and power output that is completely safe.
THANKS

That amp will drive 2 Ohms so you could just parallel both cabs together and run the amp as a mono bridged output.
The other option (like you have it) is to run each cab in the Biamp mode
You will get a bit more power if the cabs are paralleled, but it will be a 'mushier' sound with the lower impedance.
I would stick with what the manual recommends on page 13 for the BiAmp mode:
